Art Opening Michael Boyd, Nicholas Legeros: 2 Crucibles

Presenting the collaborative body of work between glass artist Michael Boyd & bronze sculptor Nicholas Legeros. Friday, April 29th from 6pm to 9pm at Foci Glass. 2010 East Hennepin. Two gifted artists. This should be a fantastic event. We hope to see you there.

Todd Cameron at work.

Check out photos of Todd Cameron at work in the recent events section. Here Todd creates a Robot Riding Rocket sculpture. When worlds collide or just a Friday night, Todd was not at liberty to comment. Finished photos coming when the piece is out of the annealing oven. A fun and amazing piece of art.

GAS Conference 2010 Louisville KY.

Keynote speaker Mark Hall of Hallmark Glass introduces his faux-rotax method. Mark fuses glass cylinders complete with end caps. After construction and preheating, he picks them up on the bias with a blowpipe. The technique, completely new to glass blowing, has yielded colors and patterns never before attainable by glass artists. For more information about his work or to order one of his cylinder kits, go to http://www.hallmarkglass.com.
